When you set off on a touring holiday, many folks will have their car serviced, check the contents of their toolkit, re-fill the first aid kit and light bulb kit, make sure they have a warning triangle and all the rest of the little things that can make life a lot easier should problems occur.
But, how many people have their caravan properly serviced or repaired?
Apart from blowing up the tyres, what do you do to ensure that your caravan will go the distance?
You have probably all seen, and perhaps even stopped to help out, a folorn looking family stuck on the hard shoulder. You may even have given a lift to someone stuck on a foreign site trying to find a spare part so that he can repair his caravan and get his family home. None of this makes for a happy holiday, but I bet most of these situations could have been prevented by a little forthought before leaving home.
Having your caravan serviced or repaired before your holiday is a lot less stressfull than trying to find a wheel bearing in the middle of Spain.
Don't forget the inside of your holiday home.
